Based in the Montagne de Reims and Côte des Bars region, Charles Dufour and Cyril Bonnet are both passionate winemakers who farm approximately 6ha and 10.5ha respectively. Their winemaking technique favours working with natural yeasts and little or no added sulphur to showcase their terroir and excellent farming finesse in these handpicked bottles.

Bonnet-Ponson Cuvee Perpetuelle
Be the first to try the latest producer to reach our sunny shores this year. Champagne Bonnet-Ponson, helmed by 6th generation winemaker – Cyril, is based in the Montagne de Reims in the Premiere and Grand Cru sites of Chamery, Vrigny and Verzenay. Cuvee Perpetuelle is a blend of 40% Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay and 30% Meunier from Premier Cru plots in the Montagne de Reims. The harvest base of 2015 wines is also infused with an additional 40% perpetual reserve, and 4 years ageing on lees before disgorging.
Champagne Charles Dufour Bulle de Comptoir #8
One of the most important figures for organic production in Champagne, Charles Dufour is a true artist. Based in the Côte des Bar in the village of Landreville where he makes most of his wines, he started producing high quality Champagne in 2006, and in 4 years completed full conversion to be certified organic. The Bulles de Comptoir #8 is an assembly of 5%% Pinot noir, 35% Chardonnay, 10% Pinot Blanc from 2017 and reserve wines from 2011-2016. It spent 9 months in barrels, plus 3 months in stainless steel, and another 15 months in bottle on its lees. With less than 4g residual sugar, it features slight oxidation, nice minerality and a floral touch, definitely a Champagne for the discerning palate.
